Biography
Alex Townsend is a classically trained pianist that branched out into Popular Music in while studying at Leeds Arts University. During this time he explored many genres, such as: funk, jazz, pop, R&B and blues as a keyboard player and is now pursuing performative opportunities as both an accompanist and a solo player. Studying popular music has also furthered his skills in sound design on the 3 fundamental keys instruments; organ, piano and synth. Alex is available for solo events on the piano, duo events with piano and vocals and also to cover for the keys player of any band. Outside of live events Alex is also using his skills in music to create library music and has created the soundtrack for the indie game “Love Grandma”. This is something that he is also available to work on for any companies or solo creatives that are needing music for their content.
